Indianapolis ARTCC is proud to hosts one of the largest Sporting Events of the year at Indianapolis International (KIND) The event will be held on the Saturday prior to the Superbowl, February 4, 2012 beginning at 2200z and run until 0300z. This years theme will be, to have all pilots fly from the cities of their favorite NFL team into Indianapolis. Not just their favorite team in the game itself, but to represent the city and team they support during the regular season. There has been a huge response from other ARTCC's to be a part of this event and support us in providing local service from these cities as well as center support. Our goal is to provide you with the full ATC experience whether you are flying from San Diego, Seattle, Denver or New York.

To all Pilots: Make sure you prepare for this flight. I highly recommend using resources such as Flightaware.com in helping with your flight planning. Make sure you have the new charts for KIND recently released, and updated scenery for Indianapolis International (KIND) with the new terminal. If you DO NOT have new scenery, you should note that in your flight plan remarks and inform the first controller you come in contact with in the tower cab level.. And above all, please ADD FUEL!!! Due to the extreme volume of traffic expected, you may be placed in a ground hold, or be put in multiple holding patterns during this flight.
