Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport was Australia’s busiest airport in 2011, both by traffic and passenger movements
RealOps Sydney
In 2011, it recorded over 35 million passenger movements and over 305 thousand traffic movements.
VATPAC will be re-creating the chaos at Sydney with our first real ops style event in over 4 years! Over 200 flights have been added to the booking system for pilots to book. For over 4 hours, real traffic movements will be simulated, with real schedules for the busiest 4 hour period at Sydney loaded into the system.
Pilots will also be able to communicate with ATC, with over 10 positions planned to be online at Sydney and the connecting en route positions. Pilots can also expect ATC at surrounding popular aerodromes such as Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
So what are you waiting for? Head over to the Flights page and book a flight. This is an event you will NOT want to miss!

Thanks go out to David Zhong for designing the new website, and Jake Saw for his development of the bookings system which is implemented in the site.
