ZLA will be hosting an event in memory of Dominic Durden (DD) in November 10, 2012 from 2300-0300Z.

DD was lost on July 12, 2012 to a tragic vehicle accident. He loved VATSIM and was a member for over seven years. He also was a devoted public servant serving as a volunteer fire fighter, EMT, and also as a sheriff's dispatcher.

In honor of DD's legacy, a memorial fund was established to help students who are on the same path as DD. Pilots and controllers are encouraged to donate to this fund. More information will be posted on how to donate to this fun shortly before the event at www.laartcc.org

ZLA will staff up DD's favorite airport, Riverside Municipal Airport (KRAL) and Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX). Look forward to seeing you there as we all honor DD's legacy.
