ZLA proudly presents the 6th annual Don Fiveash & Bob Ackerman Memorial Fly-in. Come fly ZLA to honor these two great men who loved ZLA and had a passion for aviation. 

The event will feature their favorite airports, Santa Monica (KSMO) and Van Nuys (KVNY). Both airports, as well as the airspace overhead, will be fully staffed which will make for ideal VFR flying conditions or even IFR flights within the socal airspace. 

Pilots are encouraged to fly back and forth between the two airports as a tribute to these highly respected mentors. This event also provides a fine opportunity to work through the ZLA Pilot Certification program!
