Hey Captains, its the inaugural Singapore Changi Airport Real Ops here at WSSS with full ATC coverage throughout! There are approximately 45 passenger and cargo airlines represented with over 200 departures and 190 arrivals scheduled for this 12 hour event. You can expect the skies in South East Asia to be filled with realistic air traffic which is a simulation of real life award-winning Singapore Changi Airport. The massive amount of traffic are bound to keep our controllers busy and keep you pilots on your toes. Are you up for the challenge??? Come join us!

The suggested scenery can no longer be found due to the demise of avsim.com. Please try other websites such as flightsim.com for WSSS scenery files. Packages with the new Terminal 3 and Budget Terminal would be preferred for use for the Real Ops.
Pilots who do not book flights are welcome to come and fly, however booked flights have a higher priority throughout the event.

The Chilean ACCv, is organizing a "REAL OPS" event at Santiago, where we will support all ATC Positions in Santiago's FIR (SCEZ).

With great pleasure we would like announce that David Klain has been unanimously elected as the new President of VATSIM.
Dave brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served previously on the VATSIM Board of Governors as Vice President, Operations for the past 2.5 years.
A keen real world pilot, he has a passion for our hobby that is rare to find.
Taking up the role as VATSIM's first non-founder President, David replaces Richard Jenkins
who takes a well earned back seat after 10 years helping us enjoy the hobby we all love so much.
